The Reformed Libertarians Podcast “arrow pine” logo is based on the historical “Pine Tree Flag,” designed by the Presbyterian (proto Reformed Libertarian) Joseph Reed (1741-1785).
The motto on that flag (An Appeal To Heaven) was taken from John Locke‘s 2nd Treatise of Civil Government, chapter 14:
“And where the body of the people, or any single man, is deprived of their right, or is under the exercise of a power without right, and have no appeal on earth, then they have a liberty to appeal to heaven…”
The Reformed Libertarians Podcast arrow pine logo is a stylized pine tree, representing our God-given right to liberty, with an upward arrow cut out in its center, representing our appeal to God in resistance to tyranny and promotion of just civil governance according to His ordinance.
